What a difference some paint makes! I’ve started to feel excited again and so excited I’m giving you a little idea of where the kitchen is going!
2 more days of painting and I can’t wait to see it all finished on Friday afternoon. In the meantime I’ve been emptying kitchen cupboards and giving myself a serious headache over cabinet handle choices. There are just too many choices and I’m stuck between going for a dark French knob or light and shiny chrome/nickel knobs and drawer pulls for a real Hamptons look. Decisions, decisions.

If you are going to a silvery metal knob I think you really need to think about the finishes and what you have chosen for your tap and your lights… Too many different sheens and it all starts to look a bit mismatched. Just make sure one or two of them are a “snap”

I would go with the nickel look- but thats my own preference
It is amazing the difference paint can make. It looks so much brighter with the windows painted white.

I can sympathise, my kitchen reno took awhile… But it’s SO worth it. We all spend hours in the kitchen every day.
