kitchen knobs

Well after weeks of indecision I went to the lovely door knob store. We spent 50 minutes in traffic to get there only to find they have sold out of the knob I wanted. waaaaaaaaaaaahhhh It wouldn’t be in for another few weeks. But I was shown a lovely knob and decided to go with it instead. Here it is
Kitchen Knobs
It’s a very simple knob in brushed nickel and I love it. It will look perfect in the kitchen without overpowering or taking away from the other features. Phew. Unfortunately they weren’t cheap and it was a $440 addition to the budget. Ouch. But I’m so relieved it’s done and another tick off my to do list.

  1. My goodness, these reno’s add up, but it’s totally to be expected I guess and so worth it in the end I might add. Lovely choice too by the way, simple and classy :o) xo

  2. wow…at that price I am glad our knobs came with our cabinets as a free add on special.. We just finished renovating an entire house! We went so over budget we stopped counting…

  3. Those doorknobs will look beautiful. I found some Swarovski crystal door handles I loved – as we have a lot of cupboards and drawers and they would have cost $2,870. Luckily the company didn’t ship overseas from USA.

  4. There are stores just for door knobs?! (Can you guess who lives in the bush?)

  5. Those look great, in the future if you need any more tid bits like this, call http://www.winrestore.com.au/. The website is pretty crap but the have LOADS of vintage styles and heritage themed hardware. They’re just up the road from my house.
