The Search for Australia’s Trackmaster + Giveaway

Sponsored by Nuffnang

Well we have just one little Thomas & Friends fan here. He is very much outnumbered by the Dora and princess fans being the only boy amongst 3 girls. But he loves his Thomas. And as usual when I have to write a blog post about something that includes a YouTube video for kids, they are climbing all over me. And we have to watch it again and again and again.

If you have a little Thomas fan at your house then you are going to love this competition. And I actually think this is the biggest competition I’ve announced on my blog. The search is now on for Australia’s Trackmaster. And the prizes are huge. HUGE. Are you ready for this?

First prize – a trip for 4 to Thomasland in the UK with accommodation, car hire and $3,500 spending money thrown in. I’m not kidding you. And $500 worth of Thomas Trackmaster toys as well. AND your little Thomas fan will be titled Australia’s Trackmaster. What I love about this competition is that the whole family wins since you all go to the UK on a family holiday. And what a holiday it will be. I’m sure you could swing by Oxford St or Liberty of London for a spot of shopping too.
Now it’s really easy to enter. All you need to do is video your little Thomas fan saying the following tongue twister 3 times – “Thomas runs clickety clack on Trackmaster track that I click clack.”. There are tips and some more information here. Here is Keira giving it a go:

You can view other entries on the Search for Australia’s Trackmaster website here and there are some real cuties on there. And when you’ve made your video just enter it here. Don’t feel like making a video? Then be sure to pop over and vote for your favourite video. And this would be how not to do it – keira’s blooper

And another one! Honestly, we had more bloopers than proper videos! You know it goes once you get the sillies……

So get your thinking caps on and get creative with your entry to show that you really have Australia’s biggest Thomas fan living at your house! I can’t believe you win a trip to England with your family and all that spending money! Good luck and I really hope one of my lucky readers wins……………be sure to let us know your entry too so we can all vote for you.

Oh and I get to giveaway a Thomas playset to one of my lucky readers! Just tell me a little about your Thomas fan and why they’d want to win a new playset. Too easy. The competition is open to Australian residents only.

  1. What a brilliant prize! Methinks I shall get my boy practicing those line ASAP :)

  2. A trip for four… which one would we leave behind?

  3. carmel – under 2’s fly free and I’m sure can sleep in the same bed:)

  4. My 3 yr old Fynn loves Thomas sooooo much. all he wanted for his birthday was a James train and a James Cake. So thats exactly what he got.My birthday was a week later and I asked him what I should get for my birthday. he thought long and hard andhe said “ummmm Edward and Gordan, Yeah?” hahaha they are 2 trains he doesnt have. (we have the wooden ones) My Fynn is so shy and doesnt talk alot so I dont think he’ll say the tongue twisters. Doh!

  5. My three daughters all love to visit their cousins Nathan and James for one reason: their vast collection of Thomas toys!!! As the girls have none of their own, they revel in delight when they get to play with their cousins stash. My youngest especially loves watching Thomas on ABC Kids.

  6. We have a big Thomas fan here….he changes the words to ‘Aden he’s the cheeky one, Daddy is vain but lots of fun, Mummy pulls the mail on time” and then laughs and laughs….so cute! I don’t think Aden is old enough to say the lines clear enough though! :(

  7. Just to break the stereotypical mould, my 2 girls 3 & almost 5 are massive Thomas fans… When they hear the show start, they race out to watch it and are most impressed one is called Emily as that’s my youngest daguther’s name. They also can’t wait to ‘visit Thomas’ when he’s at our local shopping centre over the school hols!!

  8. Tommie loves playing with his trains (as long as his twin sister and baby J stay out of the way), the only problem is that he gets very angry when our neighbour calls him Thomas (somehow he must think that is his full name but it isn’t). I can not count the times Tommie has said: me is not a train mum, me is not Thomas.

  9. Who doesn’t love Thomas? Both my two would loooove this, only 1 problem, I think I can in-vision the fighting. We can work on that if we are lucky enough to win.

  10. My son Jairah is turning 3 in a couple of weeks and just about looses his mind whenever he sees a train. I think he would really love a Thomas set of his own. Jacinta

  11. My youngest already loves his trains. He has only just turned one and takes a train to bed with him at night. I have had to remove the batteries from the moving ones for night time sleeping!

  12. My little girls LOVE playing with train sets and they’ll happily watch Thomas DVDS for hours if I’d let them. Go figure!

  13. My three love Thomas! Mahli has been asking for her own set of trains and tracks like her brothers.

  14. I love that my daughter’s first toy move/action was a ‘too-too’ as she pushed her brother’s Thomas train along. She obviously has been watching her brother play with his Thomas trains!

    Great Prize!

  15. My little girl loves Thomas so much. It’s her third birthday this weekend and I am making her a Thomas cake – she has been talking about it for months! She knows the names of all the different characters – there seem to be way more than when I watched Thomas as a girl. A few weeks ago we went to see the new Thomas film ‘Day of the Diesels’ and she loved it. Now she has it on DVD and likes to watch it on repeat, especially in her Thomas PJs. A true Thomas fanatic lol. Great comp Corrie :)

  16. Big Thomas fan in this house he only has a few bits and pieces handed down, I know he would be over the moon with this! Fingers crossed!

  17. Will have to see how we go with entering the big comp – so will try here for the thomas set.

Amelia celebrated her birthday yesterday. I herd Baden wish his sister say happy birthday to her and then he came down to our bedroom.
    The conversation when as follows.
    Baden – “It’s Sissy’s Birthday today”
    Me – Yes that’s correct
B – Is she having a pink cake?
Me – Yes Baden, pink icing and a fairy.
    B – I want a Thomas Cake
Me – Well it is Amelia’s birthday today. How about we let today be her special day, and then we will have Christmas and then it will be your birthday.
B – But I want a thomas cake and a lego train, ok Mum!
    He then walked away
May as well get in while you have the chance I guess.

  18. My nearly-2 son has just discovered the awesomeness of Thomas and we watch the same video over and over and over again! He only has a Thomas and a Harold toy but loves them to bits, so I can only imagine how much he’d love a whole set!
Hmm, I don’t think I’m gonna get him to say that though. Other than “Tho-Tho-Tho”!!

  19. Anyone have any idea when/how the winners are getting announced? The site said they would be announced on the 4th November, but it’s the 7th now and I’ve not seen or heard anything…
