just grab your camera

Sometimes you really do have to stop what you’re doing, grab your camera and just capture it. So often I just wait for a special moment or occasion to take a picture. But before you know it another month has passed, someone has grown some more or lost a tooth or doesn’t want to get in a photo. Elodie might lose the rolls on her thighs.

Some of my favourite photos of my little ones growing up are the ones I’ve taken as we’re heading the door. Especially like these as we’re heading off to church.

These are the first I’ve really taken with Elodie in there and I’ll definitely be taking more….who cares if no one is looking at mummy and they’re all doing their own thing.

So don’t forget to keep your camera charged and ready for some action…….

  10. What a gorgeous family you have.

  11. Oh Corrie, these are just divine. As someone who grew up in a ‘say cheese for the camera’ house, I cherish these spontaneous and so much more *real* photos. Well done, Mummy! J x

  12. I can’t believe how much Elodie has grown! They are all so adorable :)

  13. Oh Corrie, you’ve summed it up perfectly for me. It IS all about shooting the moment, not waiting for a prime opportunity… because they rarely present themselves anyway. I think you have a beautiful way with the camera, the shots always look so natural and you capture your gorgeous kidlets at their best. You really have the cutest little ones, no wonder you don’t want to stop having them :o) xo

  14. ooooooh Tillie’s curls soooooooo cute!
