our favourite stir fry

When I feel like I haven’t been eating enough vegetables then I know it’s time for a big stir fry. Packing in as many vegies as possible. This is our absolute favourite stir fry. I put the rice in the rice cooker while I get all my ingredients out. I know you are going to love this one! It’s also a great one if you’re not sure how to cook tofu.
I am so not a food stylist!!!!!!!
Sunflower/vegetable oil
1 brown onion
1 head broccoli
3 carrots
3 zucchini
1 bunch baby bok choy
2x200g packs of Soyco Malaysian Satay Tofu (you can use 400g of any firm tofu but this is the best!)
1Tbsp kecap manis ( I say Tbsp but mean splash)
few generous splashes of soy sauce
dash of cooking wine
optional sweet chilli sauce

Wash and chop all vegetables. Heat Tbsp of oil in wok and add onion. Cook 2 minutes or so then add in carrots and sauces. Cook for 2 minutes. Add zucchini and broccoli and cook minute or so. Add tofu and cook another minute or so. Lastly add bok choy and stir through and cook for a further minute or so. Add a dash more soy sauce and optional sweet chilli sauce and serve on rice.

  2. grin just found the button….

  3. Sounds and looks almost identical to the the one I make although I use a different tofu. So many people are scared of using tofu but this is a great introduction to it don’t you think. Mmm now I feel like making it myself.

  4. I LOVE that tofu. Will definitely have to make up this stirfry!

  5. yum! who needs a food stylist really!? Looks super yummy and healthy. KJ x

  7. My veggie husband would love this, I am definitely nervous of tofu. One day, one fine day I would love to watch my kids eating something like this…..

  8. I am drooling over my computer, this is a fab recipe, and I am so making it next week (especially as my big girl -5yo- loves tofu) Yummo!
