on the needles

What’s on the needles retro mummy? Well a few things are on the go. Unfortunately cleaning up my craft room revealed a few more projects on needles. Quite a few more.  What is it with crafters and our UFO’s? Honestly, if there was an award for the greatest number of unfinished craft projects lying around I would win it. Hands down. But in between researching and doing the sums on a potential house in the country and driving in the car there has been a teensy bit of knitting. Mind you sometimes the knitting in the car makes me a little carsick and I need to stop.

But I am absolutely determined to knit something for each little person this winter. I will get there. This is for Elodie and is the Easy Baby Cardigan from More Last Minute Knitted Gifts. A book I am just loving. I’m using Bendigo (surprise, surprise) Rustic and it’s knitting up so beautifully. Unfortunately you can’t get this colour anymore but it’s going to be perfect with so many outfits.

This Baby Gap jacket is my all time favourite baby outfit!
But I better knit faster because this girl is growing.

I think the pictures speak for themselves. One happy + content baby!
