more dream houses

I know you’ve been loving the dream houses so how about a few more as we finish up the working week.  Now is this one big enough for you? There were no photos of the inside but it looks big enough for the six of us.

For something a little more modest and a bit better on your hip pocket we have this little charmer. Now this one comes in at $6.5m so you’ll still have money left over for some help around the place as you’ll have 96 acres to care for.

very neutral interiors. This definitely has a lived in, comfortable look about it. Give my children 10 minutes in this room and they could really take lived in to a whole new level.

very luxurious but comfortable bedroom

Love this kitchen. It’s not flashy and the colours and wood are so warm and inviting. I could definitely make some nice dinners in there.

Would you like a view with your toilet break! I just hope the gardener doesn’t see you sitting in there!

Righto, well back to searching for properties in my budget and not my imaginery lottery winnings. You can find all images here plus I know you want to ring the agent to make an offer.

  1. So now I’m drooling! Gorgeous properties. Good luck with the house hunt!

  2. You’d probably need several staff to keep this place – or maybe if you start training them, the kids could help out! Sadly had little luck with mine on that score….

  3. Stop making me feel jealous- now I am dreaming of living in Bowral but selling up from Adelaide would not allow us to buy any of those properties. I don’t know how anyone gets into the Sydney property market with those prices they are crazy. It makes me feel old to think I bought my first home 5 minutes from the city for $145,000 and people thought that was a lot sighh

  4. Ever thought of being a real estate agent Corrie! You know all the lingo!! I’m loving this journey of looking at dream homes! I’m drooling too!!

  5. Truly beautiful! One of the things I find hard is that our house cost us a fortune and not only is it too small it’s also pretty ugly. Small I could handle if, at least, it was a cute little place. And to make it worse, at the moment it looks a bit like a building site becuase we are about to start renovating. It will be worth it though – a 4th bedroom and a 2nd bathroom are going to make a HUGE difference for us! I’m excited about following your adventure.
And, as an aside, it irritates me so much when people say “I don’t know how you do it”, it’s not like 4 or 5 kids is a massive number and yes, it’s busy but the rewards are enormous!
    xx

  6. ooh very nice Corrie but imagine the housework!! and you would never be able to find the kids lol.I dont think I would like to live in such a big house.there must be a lot of big ones for sale down there.like I ssy dreams are cheap! and its so nice looking at other peoples houses.good luck

  7. You’re killing me, Corrie! Really! I try to avoid looking at these sort of wide, closed spaces as much as possible. My (much loved) home now looks cramped and inadequate – how can anyone live in this cottage!! x

  8. It’s beautiful, but not sure it’s $6.5million worth of gorgeous 😀 All the best with your search!

  9. That’s a spread and a half..I don’t think I could even afford the land rates! {or have the time to mow the lawns!}

  10. Oh Corrie you are making me waste so much time day dreaming about million dollar properties…Love every bit of it! Happy house hunting.

  11. Hi Corrie,
There are several good looking places in Range Road although I’ve not been in any of them. The older looking place next to the Frensham hockey field on left as you drive up the road is apparently very comfortable. I know a professional chef who gave lessons in that kitchen. Also lots for sale on both Mittagong and Bowral roads leading up to the Gib.
I have friends in Old South Road and am regularly in the area.

  12. Wow. Very very nice.

  13. Lovely indeed and I bet could make it looked lived in in a very short space of time too. Neutral colours alway look great without cute little handprints (although I know I will miss those little hand prints one day). I could imagine my kids could make the glass in the bathroom looked ‘frosted’ in no time at all!
I always find when looking at property that I end up looking at places out of my price range, but it is oh so fun. Actually, our current house was out of our price ranage, but then the previous owner got desperate to sell and we were the only buyers. You never know your luck! Happy house hunting. I’m sure the perfect place will be yours soon. Jacinta

  14. Oh wow, i’ll buy you one for your next birthday, what’s a few tens of millions of dollars between friends?? Thanks for everything yesterday, have posted a picture of princess Tillie on my blog. Love Posie

  15. ooooooh lovely we can all have a dream. x Enjoy your weekend. x Leah

  16. Hi Corrie,

That was fun, I enjoyed the dream!
    Have a great week. Emma
