sweet cross stitch love

OK, remember when I was telling you that I ordered this book. Well it arrived and I’m happy to report that it’s even better in real life. Oh my goodness this is going straight to the top of my favourite craft books pile. Check it ouuuuuuuuut. Which project to start first? I also see a little trip up to Spotlight this weekend for some cloth and threads to get cracking at night time. Who cares about all of the other WIP’s waiting for me. I feel a little cross stitch for my girls coming up.
made in france new book
I’m so nice I took pictures of my favourite projects just for you!
And it got me thinking about finding more super cute french cross stitch books……..but then I realised I already have lots of cute books in my little craft library. So with a new car coming and instructions that I need to cut back my expenditure I might stick to what I have and what’s on the net………‘Queen of Procrastination’, anyone, anyone? That is me; be it washing, floors, tax or craft. There is always something else I’d rather be doing.

macarons

And my first project……….I think it has to be the macarons. And if you need some blog inspiration, I love this pretty blog from france here.

  1. I also have this book in my collection. I often take it out and look through it’s pages, although I’m yet to actually start on one of the projects!

I’d love to do the cupcakes, but I think I might start out with something a bit smaller, like the ladybug badge! :)

  2. Thanks for posting some photos of the projects … but really, I didn’t need any more help to procrastinate over the dusting. Now I just ‘have’ to go check out that blog.

  3. Love, love, love it!!! I feel a little book ordering is a must this weekend!! Can’t wait to see your finished project :)

  6. I LOVE cross stitch and used to do it all the time, many moons ago. Your post today has given me some inspiration to get back on track with it though :o)
    Beautiful book!

  7. Oh Corrie, I hear you!!! I bought some Zpagetti at the Craft Expo yesterday & hanging out for night to fall, children soundly sleeping, husband not arriving back from Melb till 11pm… so I have a few blissful hours of crochet and TV all to myself! I was madly running around folding washing & doing floors – & should not have stopped at the computer on my way past!!! Have you seen Zpagetti yet? I crocheted a gorgeous handbag in 2 hours yesterday whilst Georgia was sleeping!

  8. yes but some of my craft books are sooo out of date – can’t throw them away but want more!! what a dilemma, just got rid of my car as I really can walk anywhere I want to go, no doubt you have to do a lot of travelling so enjoy your new wheels! jennyx

  9. Oh, Corrie, yet another thing we have in common. I am the hugest fan of petits details as well. And I’m heading straight over to Booko to see how cheaply I can get this little baby! J x

  10. Oh Corrie it looks like an awesome book to have! How cute are those macaroons!
