ready to party

Starting school has also meant more birthday party invites coming keira’s way. And picking out what to wear is part of the fun since Keira has a wardrobe bursting with pretty clothes.  Shopping for my little ones is my addiction…..ok one of many addictions.

uh oh the teenage years
um where has my smiley preschooler gone.

Today the weather was a little chilly so we picked out a new gymboree wool dress with cute ruffles and a little bit of ‘bling’ and pearls

silver saltwaters….love how my girl knows how to pose her feet!! We actually had little black patent party shoes ready to go but it turns out that miss keira has been growing since last winter.Who knew? So time for some new party shoes.

she even poses her feet

We accessorised with some pretty matching clips with pearls for her hair and then it was party time. And we do it all over again with a new dress next saturday afternoon.

But someone needs to have the chat with keira that the serious posing with attitude can wait until high school.

  1. how lovely your big girl looks.

  2. We have the black dresses with the pearls from that collection and also the pink/black chanel-looking one too. Love it!

Watch out Keira, I can see that picture turning up in the Manly Daily when you’re 21! lol. xx

  3. And don’t forget the puppy dog in the handbag! How very Hollywood of her

  4. Oh she’s adorable. Love the attitude! The party invites are crazy aren’t they. We usually have one a week, sometimes more! Sadly boys don’t “get” the fun of dressing up for a party. I’m usually hard pressed to persuade Marcus not to wear a stained t-shirt, let alone getting him into some of the beautiful, smart clothes he has in his wardrobe! Sigh.

  5. Love the sandals, but ooooh baby, check out the heat in that glare in photo one… look out!

  6. hahaha she looks like a sullen teen already! No serious she is adorable and such a fashionista!!

  7. Lol love the face. The party knots have started jere too. Two pool parties last week and have already experienced crazy opening present ideas. One party the child did not open any presents. I over heard the mother of that child say “if you don’t behave then you won’t be opening a gift tonight from your party” WHAT. That is so not ok. I already had a little girl that was upset on the way home because said party girl had not opened or said Thankyou to her for the gift – but to use them as bargaining tools. The presents no longer seem to come from her friends but her mother. Sorry about the long post.
Miss K is divine in her knit dress

  8. Oops posted as DH. Tis me :)

  9. Her posing cracks me up. She seems like a spunky little girl. :)

  10. So sweet …
