OK, so my facebook buddies are finding out that I’m a bit of a closest TV addict. A bit……..is an understatement. When you are married to mr workaholic you have a lot of late nights on your own. And one of my all time favourite shows is definitely Big Love. It always makes me laugh or gives me a bit of a fright.
Growing up I wasn’t even allowed to say crap in the house and with 4 little people around me 24/7 I just can’t swear even if I wanted to so this clip makes me laugh. We’re only just getting season 4 here but man I love this show and am itching to get my hands on season 5. Other top shows right now are desperate housewives, modern family, millionaire matchmaker, the good wife and the real housewives on Arena. That’s all………..love to know your fave shows too.
Oh Oh Oh Goood Gravy! I so want season 5! I was hanging out for season 4 so ordered it on AMazon from the states and then it started on TV last week!!!!! Still hasn’t arrived! Golly!
Hahaha! I LOVE Big Love and I miss it. I lost my HBO connection after season 3 — I need to catch up on Netflix. The clip was so funny — that’s just exactly how I would imagine polygamists would speak!
As for shows — I love White Collar and The Big Bang Theory.
We disconnected our cable almost a year ago, although I still watch some shows online (including Big Love for sure! So sad it’s the final season). Now that I have to really choose and seek out which shows I watch, I find I spend less time overall watching TV. Unfortunately, I think I’ve transferred all that potential free time into blog surfing!
I’ve not seen Big Love yet. I’ll check into that. My husband and I are loving The Middle, Modern Family, The Good Wife, Hawaii Five-O, The Office (haven’t seen the British version though), and House. That’s about the only tv I watch outside of the mandatory American Idol
I’m watching The Office and Psych reruns on Netflix while I’m sewing my Quilts for Queensland quilt. Psych is mindless and doesn’t require much attention to keep up – not a fave, but works for sewing.
I watch Big Love, Modern Family and Desperate Housewives too! Love those shows! Never seen any of the others you mentioned. I also like Days of our Lives…which I record and watch in the evenin@!
I haven’t watched Big Love yet. We watch (record) NCIS, Criminal Minds, Harry’s Law, Grey’s Anatomy, Off The Map and a few more. We like to record them and then watch them on the weekends if we can wait.

Current faves are Modern Family and Cougartown cuz they both have me laughing out loud every single time!

Oh my golly I do love Big Love-it is truly a guilty pleasure for me to watch. I live in Utah and the way they portray Utah can be pretty close to how things are here. People here are known for saying Oh My Heck! We do see polygamists around but it isn’t really a big deal. We just know they are here and move on. The polygamists that you see here really dress and behave much like the people do in Juniper Creek. I love the sayings they come up with too- like the sugar is really gonna hit the fan- The rest of us are normal here though! LOL!
I also watch The Biggest Loser and Parenthood. That is about all I have time to watch regularly.
HAve you discovered The Only Way is Essex on Channel 120 – it is my current favourite and was on last night

Don’t know this one! Haven’t really a fave show. Before it was Friends and Sex and the city. But that’s finished. And as I’m living in France where all American shows are translated in French I don’t watch much TV as I can’t stand watching English TV in French!!!

I have never seen that show before. I love October Road which is now on during the afternoon, and Farmer Wants A Wife is nice to watch too. At least you get to watch what you want when he isnt home!

Big Love is great. You have to watch True Blood, Sons of Anarchy, The good wife, Glee, Criminal Minds. I watch a heap more but that’s a start
I really enjoyed Lost when it was on it had a great ending a little off beat but you have to stick with it and it all makes sense.
The only way is Essex – very funny they are doing a new show in March I believe – funny as!

I love TV shows too!!! But of course free TV stinks hardcore, so I have found some websites that I can watch TV series on, online. At the moment I am rewatching Desperate Housewives from the start cause I’ve missed so much over the seasons so figured best to start again. I watch Gossip Girl (don’t ask), and I LOVE Grey’s!!! Grey’s is probably my fave.
We don’t have all the extra channels or pay tv so my fav’s are The Good Wife, Packed to the Rafters, Parenthood, Hawaii 5 O (not bad for Sunday viewing) and Better Homes & Gardens!! Its good to have some fav’s!

I really enjoy Mad Men..I have season 4 on DVD to watch..my anticipation excitement is through the roof! I am also enjoying Desperate Housewives..what a laugh and A Move to the Country..just for a peek at English countryside…and wait for it..I’m a bit afraid to say..Biggest Loser..just have to..no more to be said!
Oh I know! I totally love Big Love! I’m so upset it’s the last season, I’m really going to miss it. I’m quite the t.v-a-holic myself. Love How I met your Mother, Big Bang Theory, and Supernatural is my guilty little secret!
Oh yes, another Big Love fan here. Haven’t watched for ages though, must check out what night it is on. My other fave is about to start – Escape to the Country. It’s my little English fix that I hang out for each week.

That is hilarious! We weren’t allowed ANY bad talk in our house when I was growing up, so that was really funny to watch! Never heard of it though. I’ve gotten caught up in the trashy Lifestyle You programmes…pathetic, I know! The only way is Essex, Toddlers and Tiaras….I know….what a load of CRAP. I think I just watch it for that element of shock. Shocked that you get such dense people in this world
