at the dentist!

This girl makes me laugh….honestly she does. Today we had to go back to the dentist so they could ‘paint’ two of her back teeth which have some deep ridges and might attract cavities in the future. Anything preventative is worth it in my books.

looking cool in our glasses

I was a little nervous how miss keira would go but talk about being as cool as a cucumber. She had tubes and instruments in her mouth for half an hour and was a doll. She didn’t make a fuss, a noise, a movement or anything. I kept thinking ‘oh my this must be so scary for her’ but she just went along with it and did everything that was asked of her.

do I have time to chat

I was very proud of her………and like mother like daughter….here she is so busy chatting to everyone in the room before we started! Too funny!

still talking

And I’m glad the hair police weren’t out in force! I had spent so long on her hair this morning as she changed her mind about what she wanted done but in between the car and waiting room it was all over the shop, so I had to redo it without a brush! In a word messy!

I'm ready mum!
And so that was keira’s first bit of dental work and we survived!!!!!!!!!! And lets hope we can stick to our regular check ups from now on………

  3. Even in the chair with all the dental gear on Keira still looks so cool !

  4. Awww…..she sounds like she was a perfect angel there.

  5. She’s SO cute! I think her hair looks great. And are the sunglasses a new thing?

  6. My cherib is 11 and she luvs the dentist…this week she had a big baby tooth out, and on the way home she pulled out another baby tooth while the local was still working….frecky I thought. However the tooth fairy doesn’t come to a rotten tooth…!

  7. Ha! Retro Mummy has quite a stylish retro daughter in those aviators! It’s great that the dentist is keeping up with current trends. Hee hee!

  8. What a pro! Little Miss Keira, that smart-looking kid, surely did an awesome job with her first dental treatment! Come to think of it, some kids are afraid to even sit on the dentist’s chair. Nice blog! Thanks for sharing, Corrie!
