more grannies

As always happens, I’ve set aside the pink grannies to do something else! I just couldn’t resist using the white heirloom cotton (which is actually made by bendigo) for some crochet. The rest of the colours are all Bendigo cotton by the way and I’m thinking another cushion with 9 of these babies!

It’s another rainy day here and perfect curl up on the couch and crochet weather, but I’m going to finish putting the quilt top together this afternoon and will get quilting this week…I think I was a bit ambitious to think I’d be quilting this afternoon!

  1. Hi Corrie
I am loving your quilt top!!!! I have just started my first attempt at a quilt and I am almost up to binding and was wondering do you handstitch or machine stitch your binding?? I love reading your blog. You are such an inspiration!
    Thanks
    Tanya

Unfortunately I have too many plans for projects and I’m not sure when I’ll actually get to this one! Your squares look great, I love the yarn… it looks sooo soft! Steph

Do you have a trick to starting a new color so that you don’t have to weave so many ends in?
