and more books…

a couple more books added to the store! No crafting for me though as I’ve been trying to keep cool and not do too much. Lazing around, drinking lots of diet coke, eating peaches and nectarines, reading magazines and watching keira do double somersaults in the pool…..not much pool time for me as someone has to mind the twins….

and another one for mummies

and that patience I was talking about must have paid off as my first fabric delivery from japan arrives monday! 2 big boxes….watch this space! Until then, stay cool and keep hydrated if you live in my part of the world where it’s so hot hot hot.

  1. Tis bloody hot up in sunny Queensland too! The weather-man said you folk down south were having some random cool weather, did they get it wrong again? Bring on Autumn I say, I’m over sticky, icky, putrid hot summer. Can you tell I’m not a fan of the heat? I was born in Darwin too, I’m not sure how I survived the first 20+ years of my life!!!! :-)

  2. 2 boxes lucky you ! Just got back from taking the kids swimming in the river , all feeling much cooler now .

  3. I nearly melted today! can’t possibly sew on hot days!

  4. That cover top is lovely!!
As a mother of twins – stick them in those floaty rings with the bottom in them & push them away from you, play with Keira, then when they float back, push them away again. That’s how i managed a keen swimming toddler with ‘we want to be in the water too’ twins. Worth every cent!! Then you’re all cool & happy.
Can’t wait for the fabric, what an ace way to start the week!! Love Posie

  5. I love Japanese pattern books they are such great value (I have a small addiction to them!) looking forward to Monday to see what fab fabrics arrive :)

  6. Oh I hope you guys get a cool change soon :( and Keira is a smart little cookie to be able to do somersaults!!
Can’t wait to get a look at the new stock! xox

  7. Hot it sure was and the air conditioner would not work, grrrrrr, went to the beach to cool off…..Look forward to seeing the new fabbie.

  8. I’ll send some of our cold your way 😉
I can’t wait to see what fabrics you’ll be adding to the shop. Try and stay cool!
