pretty things all in a row

the nice thing about crafting with paper is that safety scissors make it safe and easy for keira to join in! I was looking for something to make into cute kits and think this paper bunting is perfect as you don’t need a sewing machine or anything more than scissors, a hole punch and a bit of tape!!!!! (note to self…trim excess yarn hanging down!!)

so we have now decorated one blank wall in keira’s room and here is the other wall with a fabric bunting…..

and how pretty is today’s mail…..bendigo cotton in pink and lavender and bendigo harmony in gardenia and wisteria (I wasn’t too taken with the other colours!).

  1. That bunting is gorgeous – what a pretty bedroom Kiera must have.

BTW, I have nominated you for a Kreativ Blogger award, I absolutely love reading your blog and looking at all of your gorgeous fabrics.

  2. That looks great Corrie. Think that I might do this when we move and are settled.

We are off to Brisbane at the end of the month. Oh the joys of moving every two year – the good think though this time is I know some crafty girls up there and Jennie (Posie) will follow in a year:)

  3. Cute bunting. And that yarn is beautiful too. I like the colours!

  4. What sweet bunting – just perfect for a little girls bedroom.

  5. Love the bunting! Must do a Bendigo order.

  6. I really like the idea of a paper bunting craft for the kids. So many beautiful papers out there to use. Great idea!

  7. This bunting is so pretty. Thanks so much for dropping by Beach Vintage and leaving a comment.

  8. Keiras room looks wonderful with the bunting. I love the fairies on her wall too. The Bendigo cotton is so nice to knit with and the Harmony yarn is nice too. I got some of the white and the mint and it is knitting up lovely. What are you knitting out of yours.

  9. It’s beautiful Corrie. What a lucky little girl Keira is to have a mummy who will do fun crafty things with her!

  10. Oh, this looks super cute! Very cheerful.

  11. I was so inpired by your paper bunting I spent yesterday afternoon making some with my girls for their room. Thanks for sharing such a simple, fun and inspiring crafty activity :)
