in the mood for some knitting

I’ve been so busy crocheting or making the debbie bliss bolero again (I think I’ve made it over 5 times this year) that I’ve been ignoring some great winter patterns out there! Today I left this new pattern book at the store and wish it had come home with me…I quite like the idea of this simple tunic with some jeans for winter….

or this one…I have so many knitting books I figured I better look through my own stash of books and magazines before I add another one to the collection! Pictures courtesy of the Cleckheaton site.

so I came home and found lots of cute free patterns through ravelry and am all motivated to get knitting……in japanese and english, cute little dress ,and another dress, a kimono top and this is not free but how cute…..

  1. That Elvira dress is gorgeous! There is a jumper on ravelry that is so cute, its the Owls by Kate Davies. The adult version is free, but the kids one is not, although it is so seriously cute, it is totally worth paying for. If you haven’t seen it, you should check it out.

  2. oh man, Ravelry is like some odd mix of eye candy and crack for a knitter, isn’t it?

  3. Hi i have been following your blog and been enjoying it. I too had 3 kids under three! I love that last dress! it is so tempting to purchase the pattern!

  4. love those! times like these I wish I could knit!

  5. I have the blue knit pattern from cleckheaton which i am happy to give you. I have the latest copy of Australian knitting magazine of which i appears on the cover. Will bring it to the craft room.
