I’m an aunty

Despite being an aunty about 15 times over on retro daddy’s side of the family I’m now an aunty for the first time on my side of the family with my little sister Phoebe giving birth to Beatrix

Aren’t they all just gorgeous…my Dad has requested we take a break from baby making for a while…..

On our baby front I’m battling through a bout of mastitis and decided to brave the outdoors in baby steps so we went to the park and bakery for a cupcake today and managed it….. ok I also got some caramel slice and am embarrassed to say that I gained a kilo last week when I thought the weight should be going down so that was my last treat….for today anyway

  1. She is beautiful. Great name. Hope you are feeling better, mastitis is no fun.

  2. What a beautiful baby she is! :) Very sweet, congratulations…

  3. Congratulations Aunty Corrie….
Beatrix is gorgeous, she looks so sweet in that little dress.

  4. Beatrix is one of my favourite names, probably because I loved reading the Trixie Belden books when I was little. Congrats to the new parents! And good luck with the weight loss, I was doing well but I have been stuck on the same weight now for about a month – so blah!! I’m hoping that the warmer weather will help me get my mojo back.

  5. Oh she is a little doll! And I adore the name.

I hope the mastitis improves, it sure does you make you feel nasty, so I am sure the caramel slice was more than deserved.

  6. Congratulations Corrie, she looks like a little doll

  7. Congratulations on being an Aunty on your side. Beatrix looks so cute. A cute little play mate for Finn & Tillie.
I hope you get over your mastitis soon. It’s the worst.

  8. Oh wow Corrie – Congratulations! She looks like a little doll. So cute.

  9. Congratulations Corrie. She is gorgeous and your sister looks so well after it too. I hope the mastitis clears up soon as I imagine it would be extremely painful. My friend had it and said it was and had to get antibiotics to clear it up. I am still waiting on my sister meeting that special person and making me an auntie on my side.

  10. How sweet. Looks like your whole family makes adorable babies!!

  11. she is beautiful, and mum is glowing! Mastitis is the worst…I hope you get through it quickly.

  12. Congratulations Auntie!

My eight year old is named Beatrix and it has served her very well!

  13. Oh Corrie – they are lovely and LOL at your Dad wanting the baby making to stop for a while! Tell him it takes 9 months to make one LOL

And dont worry about the weight gain – if you had a big drink and had not been to the toilet you will be a kg heavy everytime.

  14. Wow don’t you girls make lovely babies!! And what a pretty name. Poor you with the icky mastitis – hope you’re feeling heaps better soon.

  15. Beatrix, our Queen will be happy she has a namesake in OZ!
What a sweet little girl. Congratulations Aunty!

  16. Congratulations…. I know what your Dad means…. All these babies… Hope you are all well. Love all your baby pictures.

  17. Just checking in. Things are busy…and loud…here too. I may venture out with the stroller by myself this weekend. The babies are great. It is such fun watching them. It seems like they eat every hour but it’s really every 3-4. I am getting a bit done around the house and it’s SO GOOD to be up and around!!!! Take Care. Vicki

  18. Oh my goodness she is just beautiful. And what a lovely name! Hope the mastitis has passed. No fun at all :(
