12 of 30, sock kitty and the belly

12 of 30 is my favourite scent

and yesterday afternoon I made skitty…keira’s newest addition to her sock softy collection…retro daddy thinks she looks sad but maybe thats because she’s sitting next to a dog…I just think she’s sad that she hasn’t accessorised so I might need to make a little scarf

and as requested here is the belly shot at 20 1/2 weeks….I put my head in this time just to prove its really me although I do prefer to smile in photos I was just concentrating…and in exciting news I’m booked in to meet my gorgeous babies on 8/8/08 at 11am and what a lucky day to be born (if you’re chinese!)….

and I better be off as we’re test driving people movers today..something which scares me since I’ve never mastered the reverse park in a sedan let alone a mini-van.

  1. Wow, you can really see the baby belly now, so cute! Just make sure you get reverse sensors, they’re an absolute godsend!

  2. You’re the second person I know booked for that date. The OBs must all be superstitious! Lokoing good.

  3. I am loving your sock animals! You are inspiring me to pull out that book.

Your baby belly is looking fabulous!

  4. You’re looking gorgeous! Allure is my fave as well and, like you posted on Townmouse’s blog, it’s a very good thing for husbands to have on their lists when they are travelling for business :-) We bought a Honda Odyssey a few months ago so we’d be ready for number 4 and we’re loving it. The fuel efficiency is pretty similar to a sedan, it’s easy to park because the size is also similar, the a/c is fantastic and there’s room in the boot for a double stroller. A few of the others we looked at had such tiny boot spaces I don’t know who they thought was going to use it! We didn’t want to buy anything tarago-sized just yet so we’re very happy. Oh, and adults are pretty comfy in the 3rd row seats as well so we’re planning on having this car right through til the kids are in their early teens unless something unexpected happens (like baby #5!).

  5. Hi Corrie
that is one of my most favourite scents too.

I love your little cat – just beautiful and your dog of course, but then I am very partial to dogs.

August is a great month to be born in – my first baby was born on the 6th and I haven’t looked back.

Thanks for sharing your tummy with us – sending you a pat of your tummy from cyber space.

have a great weekend test driving.

  6. How exciting to be shopping for a new car! We are also going to look for another car in the near future. So far we have narrowed down to Ford Territory, Mazda CX-9 (I think that’s it) and Honda Odyssey.

  7. Nice belly there Corrie! You’re about the same size as me and I only have one on board! And I’m 23 weeks! LOL – no fair, you’ll have your bubbas in your arms before I have mine…8.8.08 is a great date too :)

Sock kitty is cute. I’m sure a scarf will cheer her right up :)

Oh, and get a people mover with reverse parking sensors! LOL

Thanks for the knitwit tip too :)

  8. The belly is certainly out there isn’t it? Anyone would think there was two in there!!
I love Allure too. I used to wear it all the time but then Mum went and bought herself a bottle which I thought was in really poor taste. Its not right to smell the same as your Mum! I bought something else and told Mum under no circumstances was she to buy the same.

  9. haha, just never reverse park! As you know we have the grand carnival and there is no way on earth I would even attempt a reverse park. In fact for the first few weeks we had it I would drive around the carparks looking for three empty spaces next to each other so I could pull in easily to the middle one, LOL. I am much better now though. I even park in tight spaces as long as I can pull in forward.

  10. Such a gorgeous belly! Getting a spot for the op on 8 August is most auspicious!

  11. Oh you do look so cute. Isabelle’s birthday is the 6th of August. She does live up to being a Leo too, determined and knows what she likes. I love those animals too. I still cant find any gloves to make them out of, but I could always use socks.
